Planning and Objectives

Planning and Objectives

At NPS, the planning is carried out to meet the requirements for implementing the system and also to achieve documented Objectives, Targets and Programs.  This involve endorsing guiding principles, creating a strategic plan, setting measurable performance objectives, defining policies, assigning responsibilities, and allocating sufficient resources.

NPS ensures that the integrity of the whole QHSE Management System is maintained when changes are done and implemented to improve its performance.

The planning of QHSE management system is carried out:

  • Identifying the process and their application throughout NPS.
  • Determining the sequence and interaction of these processes and setting up criteria and methods needed to ensure both, the operation and control of these processes are effective.
  • Ensuring the availability of resources and information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes.
  • By monitoring, measuring and analyses these processes and implementing actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these processes.

Top Management has ensured that the Objectives and Targets, including those needed to meet service requirement, environment protection and mitigation of risks and hazards are established at relevant functions and levels within NPS.

We have taken into consideration, while establishing Objectives, Targets and Programs, legal and other requirements, significant HSE aspects, risks and hazards, technical options, financial, operational and business requirements, and the views of interested parties.

Objectives and Targets are established in consistent with the QHSE Policy and measurable in nature.  The Objectives and Targets have been defined and maintained within each function of NPS.
